The Bosch GBH18V-LI has an unsurpassed combination of power and weight. This model has the best power to weight ratio (1.7 joules to 2.6kg) in its class. It can drill up to 115 holes in concrete (6 x 40 mm) with one battery charge due to the efficient Bosch EC motor.

The GBH18V-LI has a Pneumatic hammer mechanism which is optimised for drilling holes of 6-10 mm in concrete (max. 18 mm). The unique Bosch Premium lithium-ion technology offers 400% longer lifetime and unbeatable battery runtime. It has the Bosch Electronic Cell Protection (ECP) that protects the battery against overload, overheating and deep discharge.

The Bosch Electronic Motor Protection (EMP) protects the motor against overload and ensures a long lifetime. The Bosch "Flexible Power-System" has the unique choice of 18 volt batteries with 3.0, 2.6, 1.3 Ah for individually adapting the runtime and weight to the particular application range. This model has a practical battery charge level indicator that constantly shows how much energy is left in the battery.

The GBH18V-LI has an Integrated LED light for illuminating the work area, even in dark places. It also has the Bosch Hyper Charge - due to the rapid charging process, the batteries are charged to 75% after just half of the charge time. The batteries have a no memory effect meansing the battery can be charged regardless of the charging state at any time, without damaging the cells.
